Best to go when sunny so you can sit on the street and people watch, or later in the afternoon as it’s below it’s sister wine bar Spry so you can maybe go after for a wee drink….on Best coffee in Edinburgh

The clockwise route has the elevation in a shorter steeper burst, whereas the anticlockwise has a slower but longer climb. The walk can include up to 5 peaks - but you can easily do less - and then loops back around the reservoirs. Lovely views back over Edinburgh and Fife.
