Pentlands 5 Peaks
MapPark just past the Flotterstone Inn - plenty parking, toilets and a wee basic but good cafe. The walk can include up to 5 peaks - but you can easily do less - and then loops back around the reservoirs. Lovely views back over Edinburgh and Fife. There is a small cafe by the fishery - keep opening hours!

Threipmuir and Harlaw Resevoirs
MapAbout 30 minute drive outside of Edinburgh. Two lovely reservoirs where you can swim or paddle board. A good trail around them suitable for walking or running.
