Who these terms are with

BestIn is run by [your name or company] (“we”, “us”). These terms are between you and us. Questions: [contact email].

Your account

• You must be at least 16 to create an account.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in secure; you’re responsible for what’s posted from your account.
• Choose a username that isn’t offensive and doesn’t pretend to be someone else, a business or BestIn staff.

What you post

• It’s yours. You keep ownership of your questions, answers and comments. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, show, share and adapt them (for example, to display them, include them in search results or show them in a link preview) for as long as they’re on BestIn.
• It stays up. Because others answer, vote and reply, posts remain after you delete your account, without your name on them. Ask us if you want a specific post removed.
• It must be honest and yours to post. Only post your own opinions and experience, and nothing that infringes someone else’s rights.

Rules

Follow the community guidelines. In particular, don’t:

• post spam, advertising or anything for a business you’re connected to without saying so;
• manipulate votes (extra accounts, vote trading, paying for votes);
• harass anyone or post hateful, illegal or sexually explicit content, or people’s personal information;
• scrape BestIn in bulk, overload it, or try to get around its security or limits.

Moderation

We can remove content or accounts that break these terms or the guidelines, and we may do so without notice. Anyone can report something using Report; we review reports but can’t promise to act on every one.

Recommendations are opinions

Answers and rankings are the opinions of the people who post and vote, not advice or endorsements from us. Places change, close and move, so check details (opening hours, prices, accessibility, allergens) before you go. Links to other sites, such as Google Maps or Reddit, are there for convenience; we’re not responsible for them.

The service

BestIn is free. We provide it “as is”, and may change, pause or stop parts of it. We aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for losses caused by content other people post. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using BestIn and delete your account at any time, in Settings (see the privacy policy for what that removes). We can suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes and law

If we change these terms we’ll update the date at the top, and tell signed-in users about significant changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and its courts deal with any dispute, without affecting any rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
