Starting at Fountainbridge and going all the way to Glasgow so plenty options for distance. Very flat of course. Some bits nicer than others - nicest bits: around Harrison park and once past the bypass out to Ratho

The water of leith
MapGood quality path following the water of Leith, starts at the foot of the Pentlands and goes out to the shore in Leith. Runs through Murrayfield and Stockbridge so can easily fit around a good pastry / coffee stop!

Cramond promenade
MapFlat and fast, a weekend park run known for PBs. Good views over the water and to the 3 bridges, lovely sunsets. A few cafes along the route, and a food market and sauna / cold dip venue at the Granton end

Arthur’s Seat Queens Drive
MapAround 5km loop around / next to the road, with some elevation as expected, but rewarded with gorgeous views towards the castle. The clockwise route has the elevation in a shorter steeper burst, whereas the anticlockwise has a slower but longer climb. You can detour off the road and include a summit if you are feeling brave!
