Best restaurant for lunch in Edinburgh?
I'm wanting a proper restaurant meal, not just a sandwich. Ideally a good set menu option.

This is a great restaurant in Old Town but it's not a tourist trap. Fab food which is so much cheaper at lunch than dinner time. Most Scottish/European cuisine. Great views of The Castle.

The Stockbridge Eating House
MapAmazing set lunch menu. 3 courses £16.95 with optional extras. Need to pre book. They also do dinner but you can't go wrong with the lunch deal!

Chez Jules
MapSet lunch menu up to 3 courses £15.90. Usually includes steak frites. Loud and busy atmosphere so not great if you need quiet space but it adds to the experience! Feels like an authentic French restaurant.
